
Abandon Ship
Although it is a very rare occurrence, you must be prepared to abandon ship if and when a sinking is imminent. Fortunately, there are very few instances in which a well-found cruising boat would find itself in a sinking situation The checklists in this section will help you as you assess your needs and select emergency gear for abandoning ship.
