Anchoring Gear for Daysailing

Day sailors need the capabiities to stop and anchor the boat for safety reasons, or just for lunch and a quick swim. Most day sailors carry a "lunch hook" sized anchor- one that is adequate for fair weather conditions. You should consider carrying an anchor one size bigger to also serve as a primary anchor for safety reasons.

The checklist below covers anchoring gear for day sailors.
