Damage Control and Jury Rigging
Having a basic kit of tools and supplies on hand may make the difference between losing your boat and being able to make it back into port safely.
The following checklists describe how to equip your boat for damage control situations. Take into account the construction of your boat (wood, fiberglass, metal) when selecting damage control supplies. See also the related checklists of recommended tools and recommended spare parts.
